Hatching Cave One of the largest of the lower caverns, this is where Gold and Grey dragons lay their clutch and where all hatchings will take place. There is a large dip in the floor of the cave filled with naturally heated sand where the eggs sit to harden and stone stands have been roughly carved into the rock over the past 10 Turns for spectators to Western's hatchings. Weyrling Barracks Weyrling riders are housed here until their dragon is old enough to carry them, at which point they get their weyr assignments. It is ground level and also has a tunnel leading to the rest of the lower caverns. Candidates' Quarters The candidates' cavern is slightly above ground level and has a sloping ledge leading down the short distance to the ground, some five or six feet below. Candidates will spend most of their time here, or nearby, when not doing chores around the weyr, and are expected to attend lessons here as well. Infirmary The infirmary has a large outer opening and a tunnel to the rest of the lower caverns. Ill and injured humans and dragons alike are taken care of here. Weyrhealer: Master Jocene	0	0	No posts have been made on this board.
Kitchens and Dining Cavern This is where dragonriders and weyrfolk alike come to eat their meals. The kitchen staff rotates shifts so that one can always find something to eat at all hours. Most of the time it is self-serve but during special occasions and when there are important guests drudges will serve everyone. Crèche This is where are all the children of the weyr stay, for the most part, until they reach an age to either Stand for Impression or decide they wish to be an apprentice at a Craft Hall. Bathing Cavern Some of the weyrs are lucky enough to have their own bathing places, but most do not.
