C'yan sighed, "Can't even let me dream it can you?"
You will have to get used to the idea sooner or later dear one.
I prefer later.
Of course you do.
"If it's not instinct then you can't react fast enough. You learn many many responses and only your body can truly decide quick enough which is appropriate," she smiled when he faced her, "If you want to."
Viviath looked at Rudoth, speaking to him reassuringly, Don't worry, the ground is soft here. It hurts much more to practice on stone I think.
C'yan smiled sweetly, "Now why would you think I get any sort of pleasure out of this K'nar?" She held out her wrist so he could grab it again, "Try to get of my grip on your own terms this time, it will help you get away."

K’nar gave a wry smile. “Sorry, I’ve been around dragons and riders since I can remember, so its pretty normal talk for me.” To him, talk of dragons rising and who will participate was pretty much the norm and he sometimes forgot that the holderbred weren’t all that comfortable with it.
He nodded. “I do want to know how to defend myself if something happens. Not that I think it will, but you never know when someone comes at you in a hotheaded rage of some sort and you have to keep a knife out of your ribs.” It wasn’t that uncommon for a fight to happen over something or another and K’nar just wanted to be prepared if and when that happened. “I do believe it also teaches some discipline and focus and that is always a good thing.”
Rudoth gave a small sound of concern. I figured as much, but its still worrying that he lets himself be thrown on the ground like that. I sometimes think Mine is a bit defective in some way.
He matched her smile. “I don’t know, you were the one going on about what others had to say. I’m starting to think there is truth to the rumors.” He grinned then and took her wrist. “But I’m a willing participant, so it’s different, I suppose.” He prepared himself to be thrown to the ground again.
