Topaz Kumbaker - Cleise

Appearance: A Mid-range sized Topaz at 22 inches, Kumi's coat is a deep Goldenrod at the tips, darkening to a burnt orange red near the skin as the coat thickens. His Gem is a mirror of his coat, with aray of yellows to orange to red near its base. He has a scar over the nose and one of his tail near the gem's base, but Cleise has no idea where they came from; they were there when she 'caught' him. (Image of the his Gem)

Basic Personality: Kumi is very much 'feline' tho don't let him here you say that. He is standoffish to strangers, but tried to be friendly for Cleise. Despite their 'meeting', he really seems to love his bonded with everything he has in his little heart. Curious and adventurous, he loved to get into things and snoop around even though he knows he shouldn't. He is laid back around his bonded, but strangers still put him on guard - he doesn't much care to mingle with newcomers.

Likes

• Cleise; *Adores her* She is his as far as he is concerned. He is unwilling to share her, but is learning to deal with the arrival of Angeth.
  
• Grass; Hiding in it, Playing in it, eating it. He just enjoys the stuff.
  
• Food; of course, but mostly meat. Breads and some fruits also, but not Veggies. HATES Veggies.
  
• Attention; From almost anyone actually. Almost - he is sadly easy to win over for a little bit with tasty treats and pets, but it never seems to last beyond a hour or so unless you are his Cleise.
  
• Swimming; NO idea. Just does. Normally in the Bath with Cleise.
  
• Angeth; more like 'tolerates' but he's learning to share.
  
• L'den; again, more like 'tolerates' but he's learning to share.
  

Dislikes (at least 3, preferably more)

• Dirt; He simply doesn't like getting dirty. Or cold, for that matter.
  
• Veggies; (See Food Like)
  
• Canines; often dumb enough to mistake him for a common feline, he has no qualms about proving to them otherwise.
  
• Higher Ranking Male Gemtails; Can't Blame him, right?
  
• S'lar; Not a hate, he just doesn't like that his Cleise acts 'different' around S'lar.

* His name 'Kumbaker' is actually Cleise's way of making it seem more of a given name then what she shouted as she grabbed the Topaz by the tail and pulled him out of the corner he was attempting to flee into with her necklace. He was discovered shortly after Cleise moved from the Candidate Barracks to the Weyrlings Barracks when he had invaded her bags and attempted to flee with one of his discovered 'shinies'. They have been together since.
