Rank:Head Weaver Journeywomen, she is the creator of all the new fashions...and she sells them to holders for a pretty mark. The Weyr girls get a discount though mostly she does it for free. Got to keep the weyr looking good.
Family: Mother was a weaver as well though she is retired do to bad eyes...she had Syrani late in life her name is Anille. Syrani's father is a leather craftsman by the name of Syrxen.
Dragon: Burgundy Shangoth
Pets: Syrani has a pretty, playfully aggressive black firelizard by the name of Lanotte. Lanotte and Syrani were not supposed to bond...she was simply caring the warm sand wrapped egg to the hearth one day when it happened. She tried calling for someone but by then it was too late she had to feed the darling and he was so pitifully hungry. Lanotte is a playful little fellow, though a bit aggressive when he wants something. He is now of an age to chase the Golds, Greys, and Greens and is of strong mind that he might catch one. He is fast, agile and a bit bigger than most little blacks. Just slightly smaller than a bronze.
Appearance:
Syrani has jet black hair that she keeps cut short and edgy, long hair gets in the way and is just a pain to take care of really. Her chocolate brown eyes are a bit sleepy and seem to scream, "come here", and you couldn't resist. She has an assumed sex appeal. Her willowy frame is graceful and smooth if a bit pointed. People are always trying to get her to eat a bit more.
Basic Personality: Syrani is a strong, sexual being and she lets you know it. She makes no qualms about taking a lover if she so chooses, and would take a permanent one if she ever found him or her. She is loyal, quick witted, has a bit of a temper, and will fight for those she feels are a bit put upon. Her temper is notorious in the Weyr and people know to avoid it if they can or suffer the consequences of a poorly mended shirt. She is also a loving creature, if she feels you are worthy or have earned her trust, well then she would go to the ends of the earth for you. There is no mincing of words with her nor are there any half hearted responses. She tells it how it is, does what she wants, and takes the consequences of her actions very seriously. It may also be noted that when she wants something she goes all out to get it.

History: Syrani came from talented clothes makers, so is it any wonder she became a weaver? At the age of 15 she was quickly become the more popular among the young girls with her new and daring designs. At the same time she was searched for a clutch that was on the sands. Sadly for seven turns she has stood and has still yet to impress. IN the mean time she has been creating dresses and outfits to sell at gathers, making far too much money, and burning a hole through the ranks of eligible bed partners.
As a young girl Syrani used to fret over her lanky build and lack of play mates, but as she grew into her looks she soon found herself in no want of supply of people to play with. However, she still longed for a sibling to call her own. SO when her parents conceived her brother Syrani was ecstatic with the joy of it. However, things were not to be, at 8 months he was born early and did not make it. The blow was so terrible that the whole family close shop for a year. No one saw much of them, until Syrani's mother conceived again and birthed a baby girl named Arien. At the age of 11 Syrani finally had the family she had always wanted. The family opened up shop again and proceeded to live life happily and freely. When Syrani was searched at 15 Arien was happy yet sad that her big sister might not be with her long. As the seven years progressed though she began to worry for her big sister. Arien is now Arien is almost old enough to stand and Syrani is almost to old. The family is holding it's breath that this time she will find her bonded.
