Alyzin having decided the other Burgundy was alright curled up and top of him and decided to take another nap. "If it makes you feel better some days I'm pretty sure Alyzin is lazy himself." A'der said as he saw the little fire lizard fall asleep again
A'der nodded slightly, "Very often, which is why I don't see my sister as much unless Alyzin is sleeping." He said softly. He missed seeing his sister often, but he rather not make her mad with Alyzin and who knows what Imanith would do if her Zyika was upset.
Pala nodded, "Makes sense. It's just odd how certain personalities impress to certain people. Like how Midnael... well... with his mom... Anyway! Fin seems to have taken it upon herself to be a surrogate mother. I'm a klutz... Kumath is graceful, when he decides to move at all."
"I must be graceful to have a clumsy dragon. Zyika is shy and then she gets a talkative dragon." A'der said his thoughts out loud.

Kumath didn't seem to mind Alyzin using him for a bed in the slightest. Considering how often he napped himself, he could appreciate the value of a good napping spot.
"Well then Alyzin being lazy is probably a good thing then, it means he's sleeping fairly often right?" Pala couldn't really imagine being so close to her sister, and still unable to spend time with her. She frowned, picking up her bread and meat to take a bite, "I'm sorry they don't get along better... maybe one day they'll figure it out, they both love you right?"
"Maybe not, Midnael and his dragon seem a lot alike, so maybe you're secretly a klutz like the rest of us," she laughed, "You must be good at hiding it though, I haven't seen it yet. Maybe Zyika knows..." I don't know why you say the rest of us, I don't run into tables!

Menorath lifted his head up and looked at the two burgundies. Looks like they can be lazy together. He told what was his amusingly. The Bronze shifted his wait slightly and moved his tail a bit too much hitting A'der in the side. I'm sorry, Mine. I really didn't mean too. A'der looked at the bronze and smiled "It's okay buddy." Once Menorath had shifted he planted himself down so he didn't hurt anyone or fall.
A'der nodded to Pala, "Yes very often, but then again you never know when he will wake up and pop in to find me." He responded thinking off all the times he had gone to see his sister in the kitchens and Alyzin showed up. "I believe it is more of Alyzin holding a grudge though rather then my sister."
A'der laughed, the only times he remember tripping was when his sister did it on purpose cause he was faster then her at games when they were younger. "Na, I'm as graceful as they come." He smiled widely.

Pala glanced at the Bronze with a smile, "Don't worry, you'll grow out of it," hopefully, "You've been in an egg for a while so you just need to get your sea legs or whatever it is they say. You weren't exactly running laps and dancing in there I imagine." Though it was a funny thing to picture.
"Ah well I can see how that could be a problem," she looked over at the firelizard, "Remind me not to anger him then... but, what is he holding a grudge over exactly?" She didn't really know Zyika that well, but she didn't seem the type to do anything horrible and grudge-worthy...
Which probably made it a good thing that she couldn't hear A'der thinking about his sister tripping him on purpose, "Well I'm jealous. Shards I can't even dance at gathers without somehow hurting myself. At least I don't injure others.... usually..." Truth be told she often did things in such a way that planned for her clumsiness. That way if she fell, slipped, or tripped she would bear the brunt of her accident, and not a patient.

She is nice. Menorath told his rider and closed his eyes to sleep again. There was really no point in him trying to talk to the Burgundy who was obviously trying to sleep. The Bronze figured he would have plenty of time to get to know the Lazy Dragon. "He says your nice." A'der said looking at Pala.
"Well...Alyzin tried scarying Zyika which he did. Only problem is that she was carrying a big pot." A'der shook his head, "She ended up throwing the pot at him really not to be mean, but because she was scared. Then when she tried making peace with him, Alyzin bit her hand." In Alyzin's eyes being almost hit by a pot was most defiantly grudge worthy.
A'der shook his head, "But dancing is fun. Next gathering I'm defiantly going to have you dance with me of course." He grinned wickedly already having a plan in mind. He would of course keep the dance easy for the clumsy Pala, but she would most defiantly be dancing.

"I'm glad he thinks so, he should remember that if for some reason he ever becomes my patient. I've been told I become rather bossy, especially if they aren't listening," she smiled, "So try not to become a patient... or if you do listen to me, but I'd prefer the first option."
"I think I have to side with Zyika on this... One should be prepared for the possible repercussions of their actions, even if the result is a scared girl throwing a pot at you," the firelizard was probably lucky that the pot hadn't had any boiling water or soup in it at the time.
Sometimes she was glad she didn't have any of the bonded pets, and that Kumath mostly stayed out of trouble except when it came to making fun of her. A'der probably had his hands pretty full with the both of them, not that Menorath seemed to be a troublemaker, just that he seemed like he might need extra watching.
Pala's eyes widened at the mention of dancing, oh she really shouldn't have brought that up, "I'm really not sure that's a good idea..." she did enjoy dancing, and it wasn't so much that she stepped on toes or anything that made her a bad dancer, just that she tended to trip over nothing. She blushed a bit at his wicked grin, though not nearly as bad as before, "Of course I am? What makes you so sure?" She was teasing, and her tone said so.

A'der laughed. We are not going to get hurt. I really don't enjoy being bossed around. Menorath told his rider. A'der smiled, "We won't become patients, and if we do I don't think Menorath or I are going to take being bossed around very well." A'der shook his head slightly, "But you also have to be careful as well since you will be fighting Thread too." He added softly.
A'der shrugged his shoulders, "Alyzin likes to scare people when he gets bored. Zyika was just the poor person who got chosen. He was lucky it was an empty pot, but still a pretty big pot." He said with a sigh. He didn't quite understand his firelizard completely, but he still loved him. Alyzin was always good at taking messages for people.
A'der smiled as her eyes widened. He didn't care she was clumsy, he was sure he was graceful enough to keep her on her own two feet during a dance. "Well I guess you could dance with Alyzin if you didn't want to dance with me." He said right back in a serious tone even though he was teasing. With a slight shrug he sighed, "I'm sure Alyzin would love to dance with a clumsy girl."

"Normally if I'm working I really don't realize the half of what I'm doing... I just go on... well a frenzy almost? It's probably why I've never injured a patient or anything by tripping on them," she shifted a bit in her seat uncomfortably, "The only reason I know that I get bossy is that I've been told so after the fact. Although I've been told it's only with good reason and out of concern for patients, but they might have just been trying to be nice..."
I won't let any thread harm you. His concern, while touching, is misplaced. I am not some clumsy herdbeast to get scored by silly strings.
"Ah... Kumath says not to worry, he's not clumsy like me so I should be fine..." she strategically left out his choice in wording, "Well luckily I don't scare easy... or at least I don't react to being scared outwardly. I've been told I'm no fun in that regard."
She nodded as if considering the subject carefully, "I suppose I could... Maybe I might actually do well and get asked to dance by someone else though, I imagine dancing with a firelizard would attract attention."

A'der nodded to what she said. He could understand what she meant by being that way because she cared. He smirked slightly as Pala told him what Kumath had said. "Well he better do a good job at keeping you safe." He laughed. Alyzin perked up slightly at hearing A'der laugh. The little Burgundy looked around as if to check who was all here then nestled back into sleep on top of the larger Burgundy.
A'der looked over at the two amusingly, finding it quite funny that Pala had impressed a Burgundy and he had impressed a firelizard that was a Burgundy. Menorath looked over at the two as well before talking to his rider. We'll get to see a full thread fall. He commented which made A'der smiled some more. That was most defiantly one thing, Bronzes and Queens could last a full thread fall. "I wonder which shift they will put you on, when the thread come." A'der commented really without thinking.
A'der keeping serious just shrugged, "Perhaps you will. With you dancing with Alyzin I don't have to worry about my toes." The last part had an added teasing tone to his voice. He smiled slightly with a light chuckle.

Of course I will, you're Mine.
"Well... probably the start. That way I can help with any injuries sustained. It wouldn't really do much good for me to start out on the ground when no one has been injured yet. Of course... hopefully no one does but... that's unlikely..." she frowned, she had looked back over the logs. The first threadfall of a pass was usually the worst for injuries. No amount of drills and preparations could prepare a rider for the real thing perfectly and there were bound to be some critical injuries, if not... she shook her head.
Their clutch probably wouldn't be old enough for the first fall, but what about the older riders? Would K'mer be okay? The thought of something happening to him or his Bronze Amoneth was sickening, the old rider who was as much a klutz as she was and his dragon who cared for him deeply... What if something happened to them?
For that matter had she forgotten her rule? She shouldn't be worrying about things like this, she shouldn't be able to put personalities with her patients except in regards to their ability to care for their injuries. She remembered one of the older Masters at Fort whom no one had really liked but had admitted he was the best for saving a life when it really mattered. He'd always told her she was too soft, that she cared to much. She'd known he was right and tried to change... But her progress hadn't been fast enough for him, so he... she was still trying, or at least was supposed to be....
She looked up at A'der then looked back down at her plate, nibbling on her bread intently but no longer with any real appetite. They would fly thread sooner than later, if something happened to A'der... or Kumath!
Kumath opened both eyes this time, they were yellow, Don't worry so much Mine, I'm here and nothing's going to happen to me.
She took another bite, why did he always sound so sure, she never had that kind of confidence outside of a diagnosis...

He nodded slightly, “We can only hope for the best.” He said softly. He wasn’t really sure if he was ready to fight Thread that was for sure. At the same time though he couldn’t wait till his bronze would be older to most defiantly fly. Stop worrying, Mine. We will keep them safe. Menorath’s reassured him. The Bronze had his eyes open as he looked at his bonded. Besides why would I let anything happen to anyone you care about.
A’der smiled slightly at his dragon’s reassuring words. ‘Thank you.’ Was all he could send to the Bronze. I don’t want to see you sad. Nothing will happen to them. The Bronze said as if he knew nothing ever would. A’der smiled just lightly and turned his attention back to Pala. She seemed to be concentrating on something in her head. He tilted his head and watched her nibble a little bit on her food. A look of concern came across his face, “Hello? Pern to Pala.” He asked with a wave in front of her face. He added a slight goofy smile so he didn’t look too concerned.
She is just thinking there is nothing wrong with that. His dragon stated and A’der just sighed, ‘I may just have to get Zyika and Imanith here.’ He sent to his dragon knowing his poor Bronze had already dealt with a lot of Imanith’s constant. “You know what…I think it’s time you met my sister.” A’der said looking at Pala realizing she hasn’t met Zyika yet. “Besides her Green would most likely love to chat up the other two dragons. And you can see the whole Alyzin and Zyika thing right for your very own eyes.” He added with a slight laugh. He doubted the firelizard would do much since he was asleep and even if he did wake, he would have to deal with a protective Green.

She looked up at him when he waved his hand. Despite the strange look on his face she could see the concern, concern was something she had learned to read a long time ago. In some cases an ability to read a lack-thereof had also been helpful. A'der shouldn't worry about her, if she had her way he wouldn't worry about anything but logic dictated that to be nearly impossible, "I'm sorry I was just thinking... about when thread starts..."
She bit her lip, the phase made it sound like she was scared... And she was, but not in the way that most people were for the upcoming disaster of threadfall. At Fort she had been made to treat patients she had no way of saving, simply to warn her away from situations like this. But all that had really done was make her obsessed with why she had been unable to help them... And she hadn't even known those patients very well.
Palamine, he's talking to you again, please stop worrying. Even if he does get hurt I'm sure you'll be able to help him.
What if she couldn't though, she then realized Kumath was right, A'der was talking and she was being rude. She managed to hear something about 'Kyika' and the following phase about the Green made her realize that he wanted her to meet his sister.
Pala nodded, "I've only ever seen her at the egg touching, classes, and the feast but I've never spoken to her I don't believe... Although I'm not sure that you should be wanting to instigate her and Alyzin..." she smiled, not as brightly as she had been before but it was genuine.

"When the thread starts we will all be fine. If our dragons are able to carry us yet We will be in the Queen's wing barely seeing any actions, just a little." He said to hopefully make her feel better. He hadn't meant to upset her, and felt bad for it. He really didn't like seeing her so thoughtful and almost upset looking. He looked over at his dragon 'Call Imanith.' Are you really going to invite them? It could be chaos. Menorath responded as if shocked. 'Yes. It will be good for Pala. Alyzin won't do much with Green Imanith here.' I will send for them now.
"No worries, Alyzin won't do too much with a Green ready to pounce him." A'der said with a big smile on his face. He knew Alyzin didn't like the Green Dragon and Imanith most defiantly didn't like the firelizard. There would most likely be nothing to happen, but even he wasn't too sure. "Besides I think Imanith needs to talk the ear off the two lazy ones over there. I believe Zyika has never heard so much talking in her life." He added with a chuckle.
I am not lazy. 'As of right now you are' Just because I have decided to lay down and stay away from anything harmful does not make me lazy. A'der just grinned slightly at the Bronzes words. His eyes flickered to the entrance as he saw a small but cute bright Green dragon come bounding towards him. Zyika was obviously walking a bit slower behind the Green. Menorath! How is you and yours this evening? Oh and hello Burgundy. What is your name? Oh wait, never mind I know it. Kumath...yes that's it. How is you and yours? The green just noticed Alyzin and said in disgust How can you even have that thing sleep on top of you. He is such a trouble maker you know. Even bit mine's hand, he better not move.
Zyika sat next to her brother as she looked over to see the firelizard then her eyes flickered back to her Imanith. "Hush, dear one don't annoy them to death." She told what was hers in a soft voice. Grabbing some of the bread on A'der's plate she nibbled a little on the piece while her eyes went to Pala looking at the girl curiously. "I'm Zyika, A'der's sister." The girl didn't stutter, especially since she was curious of one person. "I have heard about you." She added.

Pala nodded, "I hope you're right..." She didn't think he would be but she did hope it. She looked back up at him, "You really don't need to worry about me, it's just a side affect of my craft, be ready for the worst and hope for the best."
Maybe I should have him move, I don't want to be pounced on. But the Burgundy didn't do anything to indicate that he planned on following through with that 'maybe'.
"Kumath is used to me, so hopefully he'll be fine."
Yes, and the others don't have to hear your thoughts, you're faster than between on those more than your actual words. Kumath seemed to be less anxious now, his eyes whirling green instead.
She smiled, "He says that the rest of you don't have to hear my thoughts, I'm even worse rambling in those. Of course less so than before I Impressed, Kumath stops me if I get too bad... Or tries anyway."
Mine is Pala and she's worried about everyone dying in threadfall. I have been trying in vain to move that subject but she just keeps thinking about some person who died, he was speaking to the Dragons so Pala didn't really hear him. The Burgundy huffed at the comment on Alyzin, well he definitely wasn't going to make him move now, this could be amusing.
Pala was watching Zyika too, and at least her brain was otherwise occupied with trying to make sure the girl didn't end up hating her. When Zyika spoke she was taken a bit off guard, "Ah, my name is Pala... I work, or rather once Kumath gets older will be working in the infirmary again," she blinked in surprise, "What have you heard about me?"

Alyzin slightly shifted as he woke up. His eyes went right to the green who was in the room as well before it went to Zyika. “Behave.” A’der told his firelizard who looked at him with a not very happy look. The lizard sent A’der a mental image of a pot which made A’der laugh a little. “Does it look like Zyika is holding a pot right now.” He told his firelizard. I believe the little burgundy thinks your sister makes pots appear out of no where. The bronze told his rider.
No one will die from thread fall, they all just have to keep up with me. Yours should learn to relax and enjoy life and the little things. I had to get mine to talk more. It was just horrible to watch her not say a word to anyone. Do you realize how hard it is to get someone to learn how to talk. Imanith..you’re ranting. I am not ranting. You need to learn how to walk anyways. Imanith responded with a flick of her tail. Imanith was graceful there was no doubt, and she was fast.
Zyika turned her eyes from Pala to her green. Even though Imanith was talking to the dragons Zyika could still hear her dragon. “Just a few things.” She said responding to Pala’s question. A’der looked between the two girls and shrugged. He knew his sister didn’t talk much, but sometimes she could come off a bit rude without meaning to at least that’s what he thought. Zyika’s eyes looked towards the firelizard and sighed.
What do you like to do for fun? I know Menorath is very boring the only amusing thing he does is trip. I heard that. I know you can hear me. But it is the only amusing thing. I mean you are nice and all…but nothing else is really interesting. Menorath looked to his rider with pleading eyes. Her words hurt. ‘Well don’t offend the little green. Besides you will be bigger and stronger then her. Just think of her as a typical female dragon.’ A’der sent back to his bronze then smiled softly at him. “I promise I haven’t said anything bad.” He told Pala with a grin.
